Sue has held a number of different posts within the NHS, including 15 years in paediatrics (musculoskeletal) at Yorkhill Hospital in Glasgow. More recently she gained substantial experience in Occupational Health and held the position of Deputy Head of Physiotherapy for a national Occupational Health Company. She left full time employment in 2012 to establish her own private practice in Burnside, Glasgow. At this time she also initially worked part time as a private practitioner in a clinic at Stepps. She left the Stepps clinic in 2015 to launch her own 2nd clinic in the city centre at the Skypark office building complex at Finnieston.
Personal Testimony of Therapist : "I came across these advanced techniques several years after an injury from a fall down stairs." As a manager of a team of very experienced Physiotherapists at the time, I had access to being treated by some of the best private Physiotherapists known to me at that time. Whilst I regained most of my range of movement, I was left with residual and constant pain that I just had to put up with and managed the pain. Two years later I came across a therapist who was using a range of developed hands on techniques that I had not seen before. After one treatment, my range of movement had improvement and my pain was 90% gone.
After a further treatment to check and stabilize the changes of the first, I was desperate to find out more to be able to help others. I started a process of specific Professional Development Education & Training plus started training and working with one of the few experienced therapists in Scotland using these techniques. I immediately started using these techniques in my existing clinics, instead of more traditional methods and acupuncture, which the patients were used to. There were marked and amazing results, feedback was excellent, and patients quickly noticed the different approach and how more effective the outcome was.
As you can read, this form of treatment really rocked my world. It has benefitted my patients and myself in a way that previously I would have not considered possible.
I enjoy bringing this type of effective therapy to my patients in Glasgow, and those who are willing to travel for treatment. So far I have treated patients as far North as Aberdeen, Forfar, Perth , as far East as Edinburgh, as far South as Yorkshire, Surrey & Devon. Other patients I have treated have come from as far as Australia, who have been visiting family in the UK. I also have a patient who travels from Monaco for treatment. She had been all over Europe and seen by many therapists and specialists, without success. She claims she now has the results that no one else has achieved.
It brings me great satisfaction to help others and receive their feedback. We all do things a bit differently and have different experience so even if you have been seen by another therapist or medical professional and not cleared; it is worth coming to see me to see if I can help to clear your condition.
I"m lookng to bring the benefit of this type of effective therapy to Glasgow and anyone who is in need and willing to travel.
I have also written and delivered the first part of a CPD training course for Physiotherapists or other medically trained professionals. The aim is to educate and train them from my interpretation and use of the range of techniques that I use and have developed. Additional modules and training dates, including a repeat of the 1st module will be added during in 2017 so if anyone is interested, please get in touch. These effective methods are just too good not to share with other professionals for their patients benefit
